Ozempic is made from snake venom, apparently. Like all medications, it works for some people, while others have an adverse effect with it. It caused me to slowly lose my sight, to the point where, had I continued injecting it, I would be totally blind now. When I worked out what had changed in my life, the only change was the Ozempic injections I was having, which I stopped and my sight slowly returned back to normal, however, my Optician, concerned about my eyesight loss referred me to an eye specialist who monitored my condition and gave me the all clear earlier this year - she said I would not be coming back - like duh!! you think I like seeing Doctors of any sort and for no reason?
Ozempic is used for weight loss too. If you are over weight there is no quick fix. First, heavy people lose a lot of weight, because they don't eat much, because the Ozempic turns off the "must eat" feeling and they go down to a plateau, where they can't lose any more weight, then after a while they have to stop taking Ozempic - about 6 months from memory, my partner is "large" and was on it, same time as me - then they slap the weight back on that they lost, plus more besides, so they end up being even fatter than they were before - as much as twice as big - some people don't handle that very well and commit suicide.
If you are fat and you have Ozempic, it is not going to help in the long run, it is just a temporary fix - the best way to lose weight for good is my Diabetes Type 2 Diet, which takes formidable determination to stay on - I have been able to reduce my medication to just a low dosage of Metformin, which apparently helps extend my looks and my life - or at least the Monkeys it has been tried on - making monkeys of all of us.
My target weight is 214lbs - I am at 198lbs and going down - was tall and obese, not any more though 23 years to get here!!
"I found that Ozempic made me go blind, took 2 years to recover my full sight, it was not AMD anyway"
Can you please expand on this? A friend of mine is on Ozempic.
