UK still has 2g? I'm jealous. in the States, my 2g devices have not gotten signal for years, and 3g was shut off over a year ago.

higher and higher frequencies are the mandatory norm to participate in the cellular domain here.

it sounds like the UK will follow suit after a delay.

Dunno - Just passing on what I saw. We have 5G - 6 G is supposed to be 100 times faster, don't know when that begins, my download speed sucks, it being the computers between the server and me, that get their signals first, me last and being about as far away from the server, as off the map altogether!!

I don't doubt the info, I'm just still annoyed that the 2g-3g bandwidth here in the States was mostly given to government entities while all of our older consumer devices with those radios were forcibly obsoleted.

the most aggravating for me, aside from losing older device functionality overall, was when they closed the 2g towers down and my 3g phones would no longer "activate" on the Network because their firmware required connecting to 2g towers for provisioning data before they'd even attempt connecting to 3g towers.

we lower socioeconomic classes here across the pond also get deprioritized for network bandwidth due to system load from rich entities like corporations eating up the resources before we're allowed access. it's aggravating.

Hmm - I get really slow internet download capability about 40mb per second although I'm paying for in excess of 160mb per second - appears to be the further I am from the server, the slower the download speed, because of all of the devices and computers between me and the server, that get their internet requirements before me - anyway I don't download much rlsbb.cc if interested to have a look and a Nitroflare Account.

We, you and me, always get what's left after being deprioritized - it is how it is, you are not alone.
