I have witnessed this for 15 years. However, this will not assist people the way they think. If you are retired and have a pension yes.... If you are young and still are employed it could be pandora's box.

Before C19 the DC metro area had tons of mom and pop restaurants. Ethiopian, Yemeni, Ghanian. Most had amazing food and a pretty decent amount of loyal customers. The only places I would dine in as the there were so many different types and you would find delicious things regularly. Then those lockdowns put so many of them out of business. In the last 4 years I have seen so many franchise restaurants spring up it's gross. The vast amount of those shitty restaurants have stifled the mom and pops and they are now struggling or gone. I will never dine in any franchise restaurant but my point is where did all of these restaurants come from. I had never even heard of 90% of them. They weren't there before the lockdowns. My gut tell me this too is part of this plan. They don't want anyone making their own money. And controlling the food. Who owns all those restaurants I have never heard of but are popping up every month???????
