I look forward to the day when the 'soul' component of life is included in research as other than a distraction.

Imagine if diagnoses and perhaps cures for some 'mental' conditions could be found if we accepted that they might arise from something that is not measured by modern science.

I once saw a 6 volume set of collected books on reincarnation case histories back in the late 1980's at a used book store. I wonder if I remembered wrong and it was the "Cases of the Reincarnation Type" set of 4 volumes by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Stevenson published circa. 1983

The philosophy I follow takes Karma and Reincarnation as a given and uses it to explain the life we lead here on earth. It explains more and fails less than the purely materialistic way of thinking that modern medicine wants us to believe is the sum of all knowledge. There is so much smoke that betting on no fire is unwise. Even the 100 monkey syndrome raises questions.
