Straya is often characterized by the early colonial period where convicts were brought from Mother England to hurriedly 'settle' the region ahead of the Dutch and others who were looking to stake a claim. But what is often missed about the 'descendants of prisoners' is the vestige of 'doing what one is told' by the 'authorities'.

And entwined in Straya's servile culture is there are also plenty of descendants of 'authorities' who still carry the belief that what 'they' are told ( from above- i.e. monarchy, technocrats and elite moneyed parties) cannot be discussed or disputed or challenged; analogous to a guard/convict relationship. See here the quasi-psychotic rant about 'ant-vaxxers' by one of Straya's ministers. His behavior and demeanor illustrates just how things were during the recent 'pandemic' and will likely be the A Gov't position in similar events to come.
